National vocal ensemble “Batumi” was established in 1992. Since it’s existence “Batumi” has taken part in a lot of concerts in Georgia and abroad. The members of the ensemble take part in festivals all over Europe, Asia and America. Their goal is to let people from all over the world know more about Georgian culture, people and of course music. They want foreigners to realize how beautiful Georgian music sounds and how peaceful it is.
Ensemble “Batumi” is planning to go to Germany in June 22nd. They are giving concerts in Berlin and Potsdam. Embassy of Georgia in Germany arranged their arrival in Berlin and scheduled their concerts as well. Currently the ambassador of Georgia is Lado Chanturia, who initiated the ensembles arrival in Germany.
In July 17th the ensemble is planning to visit America where they were invited by Georgian community.
