Starting on February 2018, the new show “Welcome To Georgia – The Musical” will be premiered at Vaso Abashidze Music & Drama Theatre in Tbilisi, Georgia.
“Welcome To Georgia – The Musical” is a 90 minute theatrical performance which tells a story about Georgia and Georgians by combining songs and dances, culture, traditions, history, national costumes and local cuisine.
The play features traditional Georgian songs and dances performed live on stage by 18 actors and includes different scenes introducing Marani (wine cellar), Supra (feast) etc. as well as hospitality, humor, romance and other traditional moments with the local flavor. Spoken texts (vast majority in English), lyrics of the songs and visual projections include many interesting facts about the country that every Georgian is proud of.
