1964 -1994
By the 1980-90s Karlo Kacharava had become a kind of medium connecting Georgian culture and art-workers with the Western artistic world. He was a painter, poet and theorist, both an art expert and a philosopher at the same time. This multisided person tried to control art processes and happenings taking place around him. Despite his short life, Karlo Kacharava made a large contribution to Georgian art through his paintings and theoretical works.
